Vistanol™ GDHR-Pure is 100% plant-derived oil which can be as alternative to both lanolin and dimethicone. Botanical origin ingredients are widely used as sustainable ingredient due to environmental considerations, but it is not easy to reproduce conventional cosmetics that have been developed using technology, knowledge, and superior ingredients using plant-derived ingredients. We succeeded in developing multifunctional botanical oil this time.

Background
In recent years, demand for natural products has been expanding due to consumers' growing awareness of health and the environment. In the cosmetics market as well, there is a growing demand for cosmetics made with plant-derived ingredients. In the course of researching alternative plant-derived ingredients, SEIWA KASEI has succeeded in developing Vistanol GDHR-Pure, which has the characteristics of both lanolin and dimethicone, both widely used as oils for cosmetics.
Vistanol GDHR-Pure was selected as one of the top 10 ingredients in the functional ingredients category of the Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award for its technical capabilities in realizing 100% plant-derived products with functions comparable to those of lanolin and dimethicone.

At in-cosmetics Asia 2024, the international trade show for cosmetic ingredients, the latest cosmetic ingredients launched within the past eight months will be exhibited in the Innovation Zone.
The most innovative ingredients will be selected for the Best Ingredient Award after a strict judging process.
This year, as many as 100 new ingredients were entered, and SEIWA KASEI was the only Japanese company to be selected as one of the top 10.
